This page is the behind-the-scenes way of getting around the virtual city. It's not meant for normal end-user use; you have to know the internal name of a feature to use it (usually reasonably guessable). Mail me for how to use this, if you can't see from reading this file.
You can also go to the top page of the streetplans, and navigate from there, or start one of these choice samples:

You can also select features from a listing.
To see the insides of the system, see the cgi-bin directory for the project.
For my reference: forms reference
Various things are controlled by the graphics control file graphics.attr; you can look inside it to see what the settings are (and perhaps mail the streetmaster with suggested further ones); or see its documentation for explanation of what it all means, although it's probably mostly self-evident to most of the people who like looking at that area of systems.
Try this link.
See a freshly-generated list of roads that are linked to but don't yet exist; and have a go at adding some. This is a relatively little-used part of the system, and may spew some debugging output at you.
There's also a list of unfulfilled links of all kinds.
Discussion of the map system goes on webmap@cam.net.uk; see also the joining instructions for this list.
You can re-construct the index files from this form; there's not much point unless you've just uploaded some new data in the main attribute data files, so this is really meant just for the streetmaster's convenience.
You can regenerate the area layout files using this form; this is probably only useful when you've edited area-layout-data fields and merged the files. Since only the streetmaster can merge files, this link is really for his / her convenience.
