CB2 Internet Café, Restaurant and Bookshop

CB2 is an Internet Café, Restaurant and Bookshop just off East Road, Cambridge UK.

Café and Restaurant facilities are available both downstairs and upstairs; part of the downstairs is a smoke-free environment. Any room may be booked for a private function.

Opening times

CB2 is open from noon to midnight every day. It is just off East Road, opposite Burleigh Street, and a couple of minutes walk from the Grafton Centre and the cinema complex.

Café and Restaurant

Our winter menu is currently available.

The Café menu includes a variety of coffees, teas and juices, and cakes to accompany them, at all our opening times, as well as a cooked Restaurant menu served at the following times:
Food served
Monday-Thursday: noon-10pm
Friday and Saturday: noon-12am
Sunday: noon-10pm (breakfast menu available)

These are the times at which we serve hot food; drinks and cakes are available throughout our opening times, from noon to midnight.

Bookshop

We stock a wide range of second-hand books, individually priced. You're welcome to read the books here, too.

Internet

We have the fastest internet connection of any cybercafé in Europe. You can open an account here, which gives you half-price time on our machines and an email address @cb1.com.

Function Rooms

Any of our rooms may be booked for a private function.

Our cellar includes a function room available for bookings. (The cellar also includes wines... but these are for service only with meals.)

Contacting us

We are at 5-7 Norfolk Street, Cambridge, and can be telephoned on 01223-508503 and emailed at cb2@cb1.com.

CB1 continues

The CB1 CyberCafé and bookshop at 32 Mill Road continues as before, and the founder of both, Dr Daniel Sturdy, may be found in one or the other (although usually CB1).
